Models International Presents "Gifts for Gorgeous" a charity benefit for Toys for Tots
Models International hosted its "Gifts for Gorgeous" charity benefit for Toys for Tots this past Thursday December 3rd 2009 at Collective Hardware in New York. The event which partnered Models International, and Toys for Tots together for the first time was a huge success. The agency collected 165 toys that will be donated to underprivileged children this holiday season via the United States Marine Coprs Toys for Tots charity program.
Guests were also interviewed in front of the step & repeat by New York City PR, and both Susie Iliyan and Zach Wright of The Miche Group. The De Miche Group will also feature footage from the event via their online men's life style magazine The Smugger(http://www.thesmugger.com/) January 2010.
Models were outfitted in exceptionally stunning cocktail dresses by upcoming designer Miamesthys. Make up was provided by Elsa Zamora, and hair by Annunciata Cornelius of Gi-Amor's salon spa. The very vibrant up-tempo music that guest enjoyed throughout the evening was provided by STADJ a creative DJ company that trains models to DJ at various events.
Catherine Fellows, managing partner and Executive Director of Models International NY stated, "we are overwhelmed with the fashion communities' support on Thursday night at the Toys for Tots benefit. The number of gifts donated will put a smile on many more little faces this holiday season. I hope that we have set an example for other organizations in fashion to become activists in making the world a better place."
